This item is mostly plastic. The inside of the card holder is plastic and the individual card slots are plastic. The outside of the this wallet is aluminum. The Latch is plastic. This is more of a card holder then a wallet and can only hold 9 cards. Its a simple item if you are looking for a good holder to organize your cards. Do not overload card holder. This is not indestructible or bullet proof but makes a nice strong card holder. Not designed to hold cash or odd sized cards but folded cash may fit when folded over twice..
