I should have internalized the previous feedback. This item DOES run big. I am 5’1, of regular build but I have thick calves and wide feet. I went with my typical size 8. Regrets… not true to size. I would order a size 8 if I were typically an 8 1/2 plan and planned on wearing these with socks and fleece liners. If you have thicker calves, these are going to be perfect for you. These have serious room and are adjustable. I really love them. I am returning them soon for a size 7.

All I have to say is my calf size is about 16.5 inches and these fit me with my regular jeans and still had a little room to spare. I have been looking for stylish rainboots for a while that fit and when I saw these I did not hesitate to purchase them 🙂  Haven’t Worn Them Outside Yet but they Look Great!, By

I just received these boots today, I rushed to call Amazon because they just reduced these boots by ,00 which is huge and I had paid the .00 price, but Amazon immediately gave me a refund, to my credit card for the difference and sent me an e-mail to that effect, thank you Amazon because otherwise I would have sent these very nice boots right back. The packaging of these boots are very nice. I’m used to just receiving items in Amazon’s boxes but the boots came in a very nice inner box with tissue paper and everything, I felt as though I was receiving something really nice. The boots are beautiful and have good structure (are not overly big and flapping around) and fit well. I have room for a pair of socks or two if I choose, and I even like the little pink brand label at the bottom back heel of the boots. The leather straps on the sides are functional and the height of the boots come almost to my knee and I’m 5’7 inches tall. I’d previously purchased some wellingtons by Lands’s End (I lost them in a move), anyway, they kept rain and snow away from my feet and even kept my feet warm but they looked terrible, not that I cared as long as they worked, but these boots look great and are very stylish I just hope they keep my feet as warm as the Land’s End wellies did, we shall see. |
